Do you think you want your own alpacas or llamas someday?
Come for a "Dude Ranch" experience where we'll put you to work taking care of the animals. Be our guest for the day or stay a full 24 hours (and work for your room and board) to find out what is involved in raising these amazing animals. You might find out what your "one thing" is, too! But be ready to work hard, totin' bales of hay, scrubbing out troughs, scooping up the "beans" (manure) and heftin' feed bags...it's quite a workout!
Glamping Stays
Schedule a "Glamping Stay Event" to have an extended stay at One Thing Ranch. A free Ranch Tour is included in your stay. Stay on the Ranch all day, or visit some of the local restaurants, lakes or hiking trails during your stay.
Located in beautiful Trinity County
A great vacation getaway, just 20 minutes away from the Shasta Trinity National Forest, with Trinity and Lewiston Lakes, the Trinity River, and the Trinity Alps Wilderness. Excellent for mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, etc. when you visit.
We are the "Bachelor Pad"
We have all males at our ranch...our "sister ranch" down the road, "Lewiston Fleece Department", has all the females and babies (called "crias"). Their website is currently under construction, so contact us for now if you have questions about their operation. We collaborate with Lewiston Fleece Department on breeding, tours, fiber arts, etc. The babies are adorable! When their young males are weaned, they join us at the "boy's ranch" to find out what their "one thing" is!
Agisting (boarding) an Alpaca or Llama
Many people want to own llamas and alpacas, but don't have the right property yet. Agisting is kind of like renting...you can visit your animal(s) on the weekends or as often as you like for a monthly fee. If you want to purchase at a later date it would be like "rent to own"
Not all alpacas and llamas are "show quality"!

Although not all our animals are "pedigreed", the real secret of life is finding that "one thing" you are good at and doing that! So find out what ALL our animals can do really well!
