Schedule a CLASS/EVENT for a Young Ranchers Class
For your 4th through 8th grade children to learn the responsibility of caring for livestock and ranching for fun or profit. Parents can participate for FREE! Limit of 6 students. Select "Classes/Events" tab below.
Schedule a CLASS/EVENT to Learn Fiber Arts
Learn how to process animal fiber from the time of shearing all the way to spinning it up into something warm and cozy. Hands on practice at skirting and sorting the fiber, washing and drying it, "picking, carding and combing" it, blending various fibers, wet and needle felting, weaving, and spinning. Depending on your interests, we can focus on just ONE thing, or take you through it all!
Schedule an Appointment for a School Field Trip
We cater to students! Block out a 4 hour time slot to bring your students to see the animals, learn about their care, do fun projects with their fiber, and go "hands on" with some ranch chores. Small groups of 10 or less are FREE! For larger groups, additional staff can be present ($25 for every additional 5 students). Please schedule 2 weeks in advance.
Schedule an Appointment for a Party
You can come here, we can come to you or you can schedule a party with us via Zoom.
*Schedule online (at least two weeks in advance) for a party at One Thing Ranch or a party at your location
*Call or message us to schedule a Zoom Party (at least 30 days in advance to have time to ship party supplies like fiber, soaps, etc. to the host). These custom parties can be booked from anywhere and we will ship you all the supplies to make fun gifts for a "special someone" out of alpaca fiber...felted soaps, dryer balls, etc. Then on the day of the event, Zoom in to learn how to make the gifts.

Come and see the animals, feed them snacks, and learn a little about their care and management. Also, we will take you to the "girls ranch" to see the moms and babies.

Some camelid products would be no fun to get in the mail! Our Fresh Bean Products are best purchased in person, and this can be scheduled by appointment to shop in person. Or, if "In-Person Pickup" is the option chosen in our online store, schedule an appointment to stop by when the order is ready for pickup.
